We currently offer two workshops aimed at firm Partners, Practice Managers and software users.
These are held nationally throughout specific times of the year. See below for more details.
"Developing your Practice"

- New invoicing, budgets and reports in Time+Billing
PRE-REQUISITE
This workshop is exclusively for firms who use the HandiSoft PRACTICE MANAGER module
together with Document Manager and Time+Billing.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This workshop is intended for both Partners and Managers of practices already using Practice Manager,
Document Manager and Time+Billing.
THE PRESENTER
Simon Morgan has extensive experience in providing Professional Services and Education to
accounting practices Australia wide. He has a wealth of knowledge on how practices utilise HandiSoft
products to achieve maximum productivity and get the most from their software investment.

"Paperless Office" 
Working in a paperless office does not only mean using only Document Manager. There are many other ways that HandiSoft can help you reduce the paper in your office and provide an efficient electronic option for your everyday tasks.
During an interview, Alan Pinkerton, principal of Pinkerton Accountants went on record saying: "Practice Manager and Document Manager allowed me to charge out 20% more of my time and concentrate on clients who value excellence in accounting. HandiSoft's software has enabled my profitability to increase to that which would have only been feasible for a significantly larger practice a few years ago." Mr Pinkerton acknowledges that notwithstanding his increased profitability, he is still only scratching the surface of the capabilities of the software.
This practical workshop will take you through a typical work day looking at ways to reduce the paper stream and increase efficiency using HandiSoft modules.
This workshop includes:
- Setting up and working in a paperless office
- Efficiently recording client communications
- Using the diary in Practice Manager to prepare timesheets
- Setting up and monitoring jobs in Jobflow
- Standardise procedures, documents and checklists
- Collating documents from Time+Billing, HandiTax and Document Manager
- Setting up Document Manager for practice use
- Storing documents electronically
- Filing scanned documents using optical character recognition (OCR)
- Emailing merge documents to groups of clients
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This workshop is intended for those directly involved in implementing or maintaining a "paperless office". The workshop will mainly cover usage of Practice Manager and Document Manager, but will also refer to Time+Billing and HandiTax.
