Failed to set attributes when installing

When installing the application it fails with the following message:

This occurs when the CD drive is not local to the machine or the data being installed has been copied to an external drive.

To resolve this issue:

Install the application from a local drive, or if this is not possible (i.e. Drive doesn?t exist / Virtual machine). This can easily be rectified by creating an ISO and using the appropriate Software to mount the ISO locally.

  • If using a virtual machine, this is generally achievable within the software (i.e. Mount is performed through Hyper-V Manager).
  • If not using a Virtual environment you will need software to create an ISO from the disc and software to mount this ISO locally. XP has a free unsupported download for mounting ISO called Virtual CD Control Panel.
