Creating a denied client list

Denying clients to members' of a group

Practice Manager - Security allows you to create a denied client list that contains the names of clients whose records members of a particular user group will not be allowed to access.

Creating a denied client list

  1. From the File menu, click Groups.
  2. In the "Groups" window, highlight the group you wish to deny access to the specific clients and click Edit.
  3. In the "Properties for: ... " window click Denied Clients.
  4. In the "Denied Client List for:" window, click on Add.
  5. In the "Clients" window you can either select individual clients or tag a number of clients by clicking Tab on the required clients and then clicking Select and OK.
  6. Close the windows.

The next time the users log into a HandiSoft program the denied client list will come into effect.
