Linking Documents in Document Manager to an Entity's year in HandiLedger

HandiLedger allows you to link Documents in Practice Manager - Document Manager to a specific year for an Entity, for ease of reference.

  1. Highlight the Entity in HandiLedger.
  2. Click on the Documents tab.
  3. If no documents exist for the Entity, right click in the Description field and left click Attach Document.


  4. If documents already exist for the Entity, right click in the Description field and left click Manage Documents.

  5.  In the "Attach Documents" window, click Add.
  6.  In the "Document Manager" window, locate the document you want to attach, highlight it, and click the Attach Document icon.

  7. Click Close and Close.

Notes:

  • The documents are attached to a specific year for the entity.
  • Depending on which year is highlighted on the "Years" grid, will determine which documents can be viewed when clicking the Documents tab.
